This week in Westminster the Conservative Party had its first leadership ballot and the House of Commons once again voted against an opportunity to prevent a No Deal Brexit.

Today Theresa May officially resigns as the Conservative Party leader. This will formally trigger the Conservative Party leadership contest.

Andrea Leadsom the Leader of the House of Commons confirmed to the Commons that the government would have the Second Reading of the Withdrawal Agreement Bill (WAB) on the week beginning 3rd June.
