Part time project officer

Salary: £ 13,269 rising to £13,638 in year two (includes £1,600 per annum London weighting). Equivalent to £29,174 - £30,095 Pro Rata per year full time + LW. 14 hours per week. Homeworking/Hybrid

We seek an experienced individual to help support the development of this new project. The post holder will provide support to the Project Manager in running the Alliance on a day-to-day basis and help carry out extensive coalition building, research, communication and advocacy work for the Alliance.

The ideal candidate will be someone with a background in working with civil society organisations to assist them in having their voices heard within key decision-making processes. Someone who has the appropriate research and policy skills to help analyse and explore the major political and legislative issues that will be of relevance to our members. A successful candidate should also be able to help maintain and develop a diverse coalition of civil society voices and ensure timely, relevant and accurate information and updates to them. The ability to maintain an active digital and social media presence and the availability of appropriate resources to our members will also be a key part of the role.
